Pursuant to the Lesotho Electricity Act, the Authority is in the process of developing Supply Rules which shall basically consist of technical standards to enable it to monitor and enforce compliance to such technical standards.
In line with the regulatory principle of transparency and the Authority’s value statement of teamwork, LEWA invites all key stakeholders in the Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) to contribute by making inputs into the draft Supply Rules. In reviewing the draft, stakeholders should feel free to plug all the gaps that they feel might exist as well as remove items they may find irrelevant or obsolete.
The public is thus invited to make inputs into the draft which is hereby attached. The deadline for comments is 24 October, 2014.
